I thought I would take a few minutes to let you know that I have successfully won an interview for promotion, which takes place on the 31st of this month. 23 applications were received from around Australia and other areas of the AFP, and from varying ranks and positions, and of the 23 received, only 20 were deemed suitable as applications for consideration. Out of those 20, only 11 were selected or interview. Of those 11, I had the best resume and selection criteria response and am the first choice so far with 'fully competent' in the 3 criteria. My nearest competitor is only competent in 1, which was surprising as I know they are all pretty good and work at ranks above mine. regards. Michael . . . . I the very well written resume you did for me to XX Recruitment at 8.35am and had a telephone call from them at 8.40am asking me to come to their office for a meeting about several positions that were available. I went for the first interview with a local building company on the 22nd March then another meeting on 27th March when they offered me a position as a Project Manager with the company, the package they have offered is very attractive and I will probably take the position.
